It must exist somewhere where it has existed. I have the entry in the file celestia.cfg:

(catalogs/ or data/ or …)
I only noticed yesterday that I was cleaning up my files.
Maybe it comes from the Celestia EPV3 version of the Russian site!

I guess one-off STCs might as well be posted here. LAMOST J040643.69+542347.8 is a rapidly rotating O-star that was recently discussed on the Discord; here's an STC file for it generated with the CelestiaWriter utility. The oblateness is calculated based on guesses about its mass and radius.

This add-on contains 57 rotating ellipsoidal variables in the LMC. The data is from Nie et al. (2017). (In case you're wondering, the 24 other systems will be in my LMC update.)

Spectral types for both stars have been estimated from the temperature. The temperature for the secondary is calculated from the radius and luminosity using the Stefan–Boltzmann law. For some stars, whose luminosity and/or radius are listed as "0.0" in the catalog, they have been estimated from the mass assuming a main-sequence star, or for a few systems, compact objects. Absolute magnitudes are estimated using the luminosity and radius.

The systems appear to have the correct inclination when viewed from the Earth, and should (hopefully) have correct conjunction times. A few systems are eccentric; for those systems the rotation might not be correct at all times, or at all. (I'm not an expert on rotation.)

(Edit: I have replaced the old file with a new file, that fixes a cruical error in two of the stars. Thank you to those who pointed this out!)
(Edit: I have again replaced the file. This fixes stars not being on the opposite sides of orbits. Thank you to Sirius_Alpha, who pointed this out.)

If you take a look at the paper, it says "A classical Be star is in a wide orbit with an unconstrained period around an inner 40 d binary[...]" However, if you know of orbital parameters for the outer companion star they would be very much appreciated.

Regarding the QV Tel/HR 6819 system: another recent study found an alternative explanation that invokes only two stars (and no black hole).

https://arxiv.org/abs/2006.11872 - This paper suggests that HR 6819 is a black hole binary, but the Be star is actually a chance alignment.
