Planetary migration

Post #1by Evil Dr Ganymede » 30.03.2004, 20:47

Does anyone know of any recent papers that attempt to explain how planets such as gas giants migrate inwards in extrasolar system, and why our ones haven't?

I have a big gap in my knowledge about this... last I heard it was something to do with increase drag through the disk as the planets form. Has this view changed?
