Interactive notebook: a WIP

I'm in the process of constructing an interactive notebook for use in Celestia, using Anim8or to design its models. It's interactive in the sense that one can turn its pages, not that one can create new entries. Writing on a page has to be done "out of band" by painting the surface texture for each leaf of the notebook.

A sub-project was to create what looks like a taped-in photograph. It'll be used in several places. I made that available on DeviantArt yesterday at http://celestiaguru.deviantart.com/art/Photo-03-taped-instant-photo-636917231

Looks interesting. Could you click on a picture in that notebook to trigger some event ? Like getting the user at some location in Celestia ?

This reminds me Myst, the game with books you could use to teleport yourself on some islands.

Could be fun if you add a sound event, when the user click a picture : "Bzzzzzoinggg !"...
"Well! I've often seen a cat without a grin", thought Alice; "but a grin without a cat! It's the most curious thing I ever saw in all my life!"

This is cool... Could some interactive strips be used to collect local PDFs urls?
Never at rest.

The interaction is done by selecting (clicking on) any of the visible components of the notebook. Those clicks can trigger any operation supported by Celestia's celx Lua scripts. I'll be making use of that.

I'm not currently planning to include any sound effects since few people have versions of Celestia which support audio. In addition to the version mentioned above, the Edu version of Celestia for Windows supports audio, too.
