At this point, I'm beginning to think that Saturn's rings would actually extend beyond the Phoebe Ring with all those new moons revolving around. Who knows how many more exist as well

Important message for Linux and MacOS users.

Try installing the Celestia Origin v.9 on your systems without Wine, using scripts from attachment. Report the OS version and installation results. Than more information, that better. Thank you for any help.

The new version does not just delete concrete files. It makes a backup. Another script returns a clean version of Celestia.

The length of the trajectories for hyperbolic bodies is increased from 40 to 900 years. XYZV-files are optimized and take up space 10 times less.

Nice new textures :)

Added after 1 minute 49 seconds:
Why don't you guys make a new, detailed neutron star texture? I've used the standard Celestia's bstar texture for a neutron star (see below), but I think a more detailed one with better quality would be good.

(and yes I code-named it "daniel" after the Danny Phantom titular character)

Joey P., this addon from back in 2007 includes some models and textures for neutron stars. I've made a complementary pulsar planets addon which you can find in my addon thread. (I'm not sure what a neutron star would actually look like - I don't think the jets would be visible. Celestia Origin's texture-less neutron stars may be more accurate to what we would actually see.)

A neutron star is very dense. In fact, its surface is solid. This eliminates the presence of spots or granules.

But aren't they supposed to have "mountain ranges" just 5 millimeters high?

5 millimeters barely registers as something that impedes an object's smoothness. It would still count as solid if that's the case

2014 MU69 now has the name "Arrokoth.", Although I suggest you wait to announce this until a more... suitable occasion, if you know what i mean...

I'm guessing the model and texture from Project Echoes will be added? (Source for Arrokoth)

Darn, Ultima Thule sounded better though. I know they're going for thr myth naming scheme but still...

I know it may not be funny to others, but Arrokoth sounds like Cthulhu's goth niece to me.
Should grow out of it in an Epoch or two.
Sorry about being somewhat off topic, but I needed a laugh, wanted to share.

SevenSpheres,
I don't know whether Art Blos will add them, but it seems likely given that the texture was actually made by Askaniy...
