Re: several Celestia version

a file which references another file or directory, so when you open it you actually open its target. for example, you have celestia1.6.1\textures, you create a symlink celestia1.6.2\textures which references the former, so when you start celestia 1.6.2 it look for textures in celestia1.6.2\textures ...

/usr/share/celestia/

or you can define any other folder in /etc/celestia.cfg. In 1.7 you can create ~/.celestia.cfg and edit setting using it.

Re: Celestia 1.7.0 Development Thread

By the way, does Transifex sync automatically with GitHub? One way only - when a source "pot" file is updated, all translations are updated as well. I haven't setup automatic merge of translated files. And when the translation is ready, can we backport it to 1.6.x? But some messages will ...

Hello, everyone, this is my first post here! :hi: Hello Georgi and welcome to our community! I want to revise and finish the Bulgarian translation of Celestia and also if you (the dev...

Re: New bugfix release 1.6.2-beta1

CMOD Specularity Bug in 1.6.2 If a specularmap image file is specified in a CMOD model, that image is ignored by v1.6.2 (and by v1.6.1). It works in v1.7.0. It'd be nice if the fix could be backported to v1.6.2. Hi Selden, I'm unable to reproduce this bug (or missing feature) in 1.6.2: notabug.png

Re: Celestia 1.7.0 Development Thread

Since today and build 1.7.0-dev-400 users using appveyor builds should download an additional archive celestia-dep.x86.7z. This archive contains all required dll and especially celestia.dll extracted from exe files. So, to run native windows exe, one needs celestia-win.x86.7z + celestia-dep.x86.7z, ...

Only for addons. You can't simply put a new star texture to extras folder to replace an existing one.

New site/forum server and adminstrator

Hello celestian community. As some of you already know, Alexell who was running this server, decided to cut all connections with Celestia. So we had to urgently create a new server and host the site and the forum there. I did this so now I'm the forum owner as well. What does it mean for other commu...

Re: Improve the code in LUT5

the biggest problem with LUT is that it uses hardcoded values for dimensions. this works more or less good with default txf fonts, but breaks everything with scalable ttf fonts.
