Re: spacecrafts and Vidiba in LUT5

I have been working with this for at least 2 years.

Another tip for creating a dividing line:
make a table without object and use the local translator to change the name displayed in Vidiba.

the longest is to modify all the spacecrafts .scc to add 'Visible false'

spacecrafts and Vidiba in LUT5

with the multiplication of spacecrafts over the past year, the Celestia screen is overloaded when displaying names and orbits. It is the same problem as for asteroids and comets. The use of the Vidiba module in Lut5 is not limited to asteroids. on the 1st image, you can see what happens if everythin...

Re: New bugfix release 1.6.2-beta1

Is there a difference between lua5.1.dll in celestia 1.6.1 (172ko for mine) and lua51.dll (683ko) in celestia 1.6.2. Curiously, the results with Lua Universal Tools are not the same. Re: New bugfix release 1.6.2-beta1

We're starting to get lost in the celestia 1.6.2 beta1, beta2, beta3 versions
You should open one thread per beta version.

Re: altsurface for Bennu

The USGS and IAU website: Gazetteer of Planetary Nomenclature is repaired despite certain errors at times. It allowed me to note that the maps of which I had communicated the links were badly oriented compared to Celestia. On these maps, the longitudes range from 0 ° to 360 ° (East). The correct ori...

In the 'Celestia / data' folder, it works perfectly.
It seems logical but I hadn't thought about it, thank you SevenSpheres

altsurface for Bennu

At this address you will find a texture map with the nomenclatures for Bennu: https://www.universetoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Bennu-names.jpg The USGS website https://planetarynames.wr.usgs.gov/ seems to be having problems and we cannot recover the longitudes and latitudes of the new featur...

Re: Project "Celestia Origin", release dated April 30, 2020

SevenSpheres
There are two solutions: specify "catalogs" as an extras directory instead, or put the trajectory file in the main "data" folder (Celestia/data)

thank SevenSpheres ...
You understand my installation (to prioritize loading by celestia)
I will test this idea.

Re: Project "Celestia Origin", release dated April 30, 2020

Note that I am not looking for someone responsible for what is happening to me but only for ideas to find out where the problem comes from. Certainly Ceres is the only one in the dwarfplanets, to benefit from a trajectory file. But in my structure other objects are in this case and work very well. I...
