Re: Largest known stars (Stars over 700 solar radii)

OK.

Actually, it looks a lot like the red supergiant texture in Universe Sandbox 2.

Re: Largest known stars (Stars over 700 solar radii)

OK, I am growing up; just calm down people. Of course, I'm not intending on bragging.

Re: Joey P.'s Celestia

1. The planets around Alpha Centauri A, Epsilon Eridani, and Sirius are entirely fictional. 2. I am taking the intense flares of Proxima Centauri into account. Even if Proxima Centauri b is in the habitable zone, it likely wouldn't be habitable and still too hot thanks to the flares. 3. Thanks for r...

Re: Is this an accurate color/temprature guide?

It might be. I'm not sure about this but I believe that chemical makeup may be responsible for some of the odd tints of stars (like Beta Librae).

If you fear about me having trouble in the Discord server, than that's fine - I've deleted my discord account for unrelated reasons.

I myself have already made a (controversial) largest stars addon.

Signature colors of planets

(please select up to ten options for the poll; for every planet in our Solar System including Pluto, the Moon, and hypothetical trans-Neptunian planets) For me, it seems as if every planet (known) in our Solar System seems to have a "signature color". However, most Celestia textures I've s...

Did you hear about the second planet in orbit around Proxima Centauri? I want one of Proxima Centauri's potentially habitable planets to be named Jetix.

Re: Jupiter Animated Atmosphere (2020)

I personally think Jupiter's stripes should have a more vivid orange color, like in this recent Hubble image of the planet: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/50/Jupiter%2C_image_taken_by_NASA%27s_Hubble_Space_Telescope%2C_June_2019_-_Edited.jpg I'm also going to make a thread on the s...

I've corrected the code for Vlad Masters and conflated it with the (real) Thorne-Zytkow candidate HV 2112. The star's size has been updated and it is now in the Small Magellanic Cloud. "Vlad Masters:HV 2112:Thorne-Zytkow object:TZO" { RA 12.7343592 Dec -73.42344861 Distance 205000 AppMag 6...
