Re: Vision's Addons

Yes. I am currently working on an addon that will add to Celestia the most distant objects that man knows (galaxies, etc.). A lot of work... and creating black holes with sprites... That's why I'm looking for methods that make black+rendering easier and more realistic. I think these black hole versi...

Re: Vision's Addons

Hello Lafuente_Astronomy  I'm working on black holes And judging from my new work, successfully. I'm learning modeling too, but... so far, everything I've done at Blender doesn't apply to Celestia :eh: ... Apparently, to create a full black hole, you need to update the shaders of the program ...

Re: Vision's Addons

SVision, just in case you want to make more Black Holes, I can give you at least a list from Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_massive_black_holes Thank You  I use that list. Although I'll write a lot of black holes there. You have to look for everything in scientific art...

Re: Vision's Addons

Pōwehi isn't an official name. Still, her name is more official than NGC 1600 X1 You had the wrong link; here it is. Also, why does the name Behemoth have a "^" in front of it? I'm confused. I'm gonna fix this. About ^ I once wanted to separate the objects into more or less officially rec...

Re: Vision's Addons

I'm curious: Which black holes are confirmed to be bigger than this one? Since when I checked out Behemoth, its Radii is way larger than the Boss Black Hole you posted in the Discord months ago. And if there ever are such monsters, have you made them already? That's where you're wrong. Behemoth - t...

Re: Vision's Addons

s the black hole in there based on fictional readings or is it based on research papers? Either way, it's all right. I just don't recall that a black hole named "Behemoth" exists but if it actually does, then t might have no name yet. It's high time we petition either NASA or the IAU to g...

Re: Vision's Addons

There are several Christian(Particularly Protestant) denominations that literally believe that GOD made the world in 6 24-hour days. He may be a member of one of them. Now, let's just put this behind us, otherwise SVision might feel weird seeing a theological argument erupting in his topic It's all...

Re: Vision's Addons

I think the 100 GLY render limit for both stars and galaxies would be better, so that anyone can have immense enough space to create new galaxies beyond the Observable Universe, and create the stars within as well. However, that's just my opinion Good offer! I support  Actually... Maybe late...

I don't have any additional information
Apparently you're right, and it's "celestia 5441-x86-RaDecDist-Fix" that allows me to fly to a really deep universe

Re: Vision's Addons

I could ask Vision which version of Celestia 1.7.0 is using. But it would be better if he sees this part of the chat, at least either way, he would give his insights on which version of Celestia 1.7.0 is he using

Ok
Here's my version of Celestia.

Re: Vision's Addons

SVision, by "line breaks" I'm referring to the list of names taking up two lines, like this: SevenSpheres I know what you mean now. These divisions are needed to fit all the object ids If I take them out of chaos 1.png And so with the divisions 2.png I think they are needed. Not all compu...

Re: Vision's Addons

Hmm...
I've been thinking, and maybe both of you. Why make it so difficult if you can just make a black hole.

OK :hi: . Then I'll probably do it soon  .

Re: Vision's Addons

Lafuente_Astronomy it is an interesting proposal and I agree to it  (about the black hole of the Powhei) I've wanted to take care of this black hole for a long time... But that's why I put it off all the time... The thing is, if I start adding objects to the M87 galaxy...you can wait ...

If I remember, SevenSpheres suggested that there should be warped space effects in Celesta: https://github.com/CelestiaProject/Celestia/issues/461 Lafuente_Astronomy , hmm ... I agree with your offer And perhaps I will join you Somehow Askaniy invited me to the github community of Celestia but I fo...

Vision's Addons

Greetings to all members of the project Celestia  ! Once upon a time, when I was still very young, I met Celestia 1.4.1, a very advanced program at that time (it was already distant 2004), which further defined all my interests in my life, sending me completely to the knowledge of a cold, dea...

Coordinates for DSC objects

Good day to everyone! Unfortunately, I forgot how the coordinates for such objects as nebulae and galaxies are computed. This is very important for me now, since I am preparing for the implementation of a VERY interesting addon  . More precisely, the collection. I need to finish it as soon as ...

Re: PSR J1719-1438 & The "Diamond Planet" [Addon]

You can include a Mass statement, but Celestia ignores it. If you include a Mass statement, it would be just to help people understand the values of the parameters that Celestia does use. In particular, the correct values of Period and SemiMajorAxis have to be calculated by you. Selden all correctl...

Re: PSR J1719-1438 & The "Diamond Planet" [Addon]

The addon turned out very nice  , but not completely scientific. PSR 1719-1413 is a neutron star and they are extremely hot and the object identified as PSR 1719-1413 is very close to its companion (0.004 a.u) and makes a full turn in 2 hr 10 min. This means that the exoplanet is at a distanc...
