Cassini-huygens in lastest Celestia version

I read that the 1.3.2pre8 has cassini and huygens, so I installed it and tryed. Huygens is orbiting cassini if I understand correctly the scc, but because of that, if not seeing directly ay huygens, it dissapears, or it just goes behind cassinim and it doesnt look good at all... And then, after sepa...

Re: Formula for gravity of oblate objects

Do you mean the gravitational force in the surface?
Because if you are talking the forces in the space near the celestial body, its not important its shape...
For gravity force calculations you imagine that teh celestial body is a small point in the center of gravity of that body...

Re: Cassini

I think that is done like that becaus Cassini needs to change his path a little. Think of this: Huygens has no engines. So if you want it to land on Titan you must put it in a path that will take it directly to Titan. You do that puting cassini in a path to Titan. Then after separation Cassini needs...

Look what I did...

I used my 3" reflector and my webcam, which surprise me more each day I use it, I thought that I cant use it for anything, and its better in astronomical use than as a normal webcam. Both were videos that I proccesed with registax2(those were long videos, but I used more or less 200 frames for each ...

Re: I have my double-star

I tryed my self too, and I have a problem: If the starts ar far from the center of gravity and you go with the cammera far from it too, the planets/stars dissapear... so you can see the binary system only when you are close to the center star

A way to convert what? msh to 3ds? There is a plugin called 3ds2msh that do the oposite too...
So the convertion would not be the real problem...
