first it never was possible to use both ttf and txf. second, txf fonts are already disabled, and will be removed later.

Only for addons. You can't simply put a new star texture to extras folder to replace an existing one.

the biggest problem with LUT is that it uses hardcoded values for dimensions. this works more or less good with default txf fonts, but breaks everything with scalable ttf fonts.

Unpack them into "locale" subdirectory, then move locale/win32/res_XY.dll or locale/x64/res_XY.dll depending on your OS bitness to locale. XY is your language code.

Windows users please test different dialogs (eclipse finder, solar system, etc), especially if your locale is chinese or at least non-english.

WARNING: put a new exe file to your 1.6.2 installation folder as it requires translation dll.

You need to download CelestiaContent into "content" subdirectory. Better instead of downloading source code from github use

i have a 100% debian clean build of Celestia the only thing is you have to build it https://github.com/JohnVV/MyCelestiaBuild Your fork doesn't have any new features or bug fixes. I don't see any reason to keep it and moreover recommend it to anybody. now rant over if this goes through you can buil...

in virtualtex.cpp is_directory() doesn't receive an empty string, so this is an another issue.

and for me it sounds very strange, because if directory doesn't exist `stat` call should return -1 instead of raising SIGABRT. maybe macos should have some workarounds.
