Ok but this isn't a place to talk about that. This is a place to post screenshots from Celestia, so please stay on topic with the subject.

Gliese 436 b:
I wouldn't even use it anyway. It's too low quality for my use. I'm better off making one from scratch based off data.

Re: An Io Like moon
This actually got me curious, and I decided to use Grand Designer (the software that cubic used to make his star textures) to make some procedurally generated Io-like textures (which are not gonna be released as this is a test). Here are the results: Io-Like1.png Io-Like2.png I wasn't able to have s...

I feel like I should do more of these prehistoric Earths. I would have to spend hours to make custom height maps (that include the sea floor), but the results would most likely pay off.

Earth during the Jurassic period (addon will not be released)
This was made using Grand Designer, Photoshop, Filter Forge, and a bump map made by Kexitt on Deviantart, which sadly is no longer available.- 26.02.2021, 18:37

Re: Neptune SF2020
Nice, it kind of reminds me of some of my older (and crappier) HD Neptune textures, including one I recently updated to my liking. Something I really want to know though, is how did you do the clouds? They're beautiful!

Re: Pictures from Celestia
For a comparison, here's an 8k Jupiter texture I made a while back that uses that one texture by Master-Bit on Deviantart, along with some 2019 Hubble data, some Cassini data to make the storms more HD, and actual mosaics of the planet from Juno (processed by Björn Jónsson). I also have moving jet s...

I think the texture looked better before you edited the red spot, because in the new one, it sticks out like a sore thumb when it comes to contrast.

That's just Kexitt's Pluto texture but edited. The original textures can be found here:

Re: Pictures from Celestia
Very nice! Added after 33 minutes 50 seconds: Is this from a new source image? Actually, it's this texture: https://www.deviantart.com/master-bit/art/16K-Jupiter-texture-map-695831452 It uses 3 other Jupiter textures (using data from Voyager 1 in 1979, Cassini in 2000, and Hubble in 2015) mixed tog...

Re: Lylat System
The unfortunate thing about the Lylat system is that there is no official layout or order of the planets. All we know is that Macbeth is the closest to Lylat, and that there is an asteroid belt between Corneria and Fortuna.

Lylat System
So a while ago, I had decided that I would try and make the Lylat system from the Star Fox video game series. I had put the project on hold after adding in 4 of the planets, but I'm considering on returning to it (It even features cubicApocalypse's lens flare sprites for Lylat). The system so far: L...
