yes i would like to use this Starlink model but at the moment i don't know how to convert models for Orbiter to cmod model. I can see that these are text files close to cmod (ascii) but my knowledge ends there.

Re: Spacecrafts for Celestia
DaveBowman2001, yes on asteroids and comets too; the phenomenon diminishes when we move away from the object. If it's the same for you and others, it relieves me to know that my system is not at fault. Thank you :hi: you have precaunized the use of my Progress of 2018. This Progress is however not e...

Why does the orbit not pass in the Progress-M 1 model? Do you have the same phenomenon? It does it with practically all objects. Progress-M 1 orbite.jpg " Progress-M 1:1989-066A:Satcat 20191" "Sol/Earth" { Class "spacecraft" Visible false Mesh "progress-M.cmod"...

Re: Spacecrafts for Celestia
Here are the 28 missions of the Columbia shuttle until the tragic flight of STS-107. I don't remember where I got the Columbia model which is not on Motherlode but a clue is that it uses Bob Hudley's textured ones that he created for Atlantis, Discovery and Endeavor. It is missing on Motherlode Chal...

I do not use Spice because files with Spice are not supported (library) and as I can nowhere find an explanation, I do without.

Re: Asteroid 231937
trappistplanets I actually used Mesh (model and textures), Orientation in my ssc. I did not use Spice. But I think the problem stems from this cmod model on my pc because even after setting the internal textures to none and declaring a functional external texture in the ssc file, the asteroid does n...

My system is Windows10 64bits ver. 20H2 and video Intel (R) UHD Graphics.
In cmodview, the model was black. When I removed the dots (.), I could see the texture but still not in celestia.

Re: Asteroid 231937
The model or the texture remains invisible to me. The object is recognized since we have the marker and the name but no image. In cmodview, the model appears in all its beauty after changing the names of the texture files by removing the dots (.) but no in celestia.

Re: Spacecrafts for Celestia
I have listed the 39 missions of the Discovery shuttle. There are 2 models for the open hold shuttle, arm extended or not. Mission end dates are disconnected to allow visualization of orbits for years to come.
