I think i can reproduce the bug

it is in "multitexture" and "OpenGL+nvidia" BUT NOT in OpenGL2 rendering

using IO as an example

give me a few days and i can work on a geco-bathmay Earth Height map and turn it into a " Venus" like radar colored map

BUT!!! you will need to make the add on from the texture i post

Europa is so flat that a normal is really not needed

i use Blender 2.79 to make planets for an example see: http://forum.celestialmatters.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=878#p15415 with gimp you will have to paint it i have in the past used gimp to make a height map and then a colorized version for a texture BUT!!! you have to edit for the polar areas usi...
